26-01-2017: Republic Day was celebrated with great fervour and
gaiety by the Principal, Staff and students of P.G. Govt. College for Girls,
Sector-11, Chandigarh today. Prof. Anita Kaushal, Principal of the college
hoisted the national flag. Patriotic songs rendered by the students of Music
Vocal Department made the atmosphere highly nationalistic. Speeches by the
students invoked the spirit of nationalism amongst all.
Addressing the students on the occasion, Principal, Prof. Anita Kaushal
advised the students to become torch bearers of values of integrity, patriotism
and understand the true sense of freedom. She encouraged them to keep the
college premises clean and motivate others to make cleanliness the motto of
their life. She emphasized that youth has a significant role to play in making
India stronger and better at global level.
