12th and 13th Feb, 2019: Joy of Giving Charity Fair was held.
The much anticipated Joy of Giving Charity Fair was held on the 12th and 13th of February, 2019 in the Nescafe Square in the college campus. The annual event is organised by Hum Hain- The Society for Gender Equality and Non- Discrimination. The students put up a variety of stalls of eatables, games, music, mehndi etc. The college was a riot of colour as the students participated with fervour in huge numbers. Teachers of the English Department also contributed generously by bringing home made mouth-watering eats. Ex faculty and ex-students also came and participated in various activities. The open mike platform attracted many talented poets and singers. A treasure hunt was also organised which drew many enthusiastic students. On the whole the event was a resounding success. The proceeds of the fair would be donated to the college fun for the underprivileged- Sahyog.
