P.G. Govt. College for Girls, Sec-11, Chandigarh
As per the directions of Director Higher Education,
Chandigarh Administration vide Letter No. 410-DHE-UT-C2-12( ) 2021,
dated-02-02-2021, the college will reopen for students Post Lockdown and
regular teaching of the all classes will resume in the college w.e.f.
10-02.2021. The campus has been sanitized and all the SOP’s recommended by the
MHA/MoE are being followed to ensure maximum safety in view of the ongoing
pandemic of COVID 19.
The students are allowed to attend offline classes.
Teaching will continue in blended mode (offline and Online)in the interest of
all the students.
Students should submit the undertaking duly signed
by the parent (performa available at http://gcg11.ac.in/downloads.aspx)
and follow the below listed instructions at all times.
Instructions to be followed strictly:
1. Students to attend college as per the timetable.
2. In case of any pre-condition like cold, cough
and fever students will not be allowed to enter college premises.
3. Students must carry their ID Cards. In case of
lost/stolen ID card, contact librarian for re-issue after complying with the
modalities.
4. Students to carry copy of the undertaking from
the parents at all times.
5. It is advised that students must carry their own
water bottles, lunch boxes, sanitizers, soap strips, etc. to college.
6. It is mandatory to wear masks properly at all
times (covering nose and mouth completely) and gloves.
7. It is mandatory to maintain social distancing in
the classes, corridors, grounds, library, labs, washrooms and elsewhere in the
entire campus.
8. Spitting in the college premises is strictly
prohibited and will be a punishable offence.
9. Littering in college premises is strictly prohibited.
The students would dispose-off facemasks/gloves in dustbins specifically
provided for such items.
10. Students should adhere strictly to the SOPs/Guidelines
issued by the MoE, Chandigarh Administration and college authorities.
11. The college reserves the right to disallow any
student from attending college in-case: -
- she is found to be having some precondition
(cold, cough and fever) or -
- she is found to be violating any
SOPs/guidelines issued by MoE, Chandigarh Administration and college authorities
regarding COVID-19 Pandemic.
Additional Instructions for Hostel Resident
Students
1. The hostel resident students would have to
produce COVID Negative Test Report at the time of joining hostel accommodation.
2. Since residential students may be coming from
different locations, they shall remain in quarantine and self-monitor their
health for a period of 14 days before being allowed to attend classes (even if
they bring a negative test report).
3. Symptomatic students shall not be permitted to
stay in the hostels under any circumstances. They will be referred to the
nearest COVID treatment facility for clinical assessment and treatment. The
parents/local guardian have to make alternate arrangements for medical care of
such students immediately.
4. Sharing of room is not allowed. There will be
one resident student in one room.
5. There should be no crowding in hostel areas
where students live in close proximity and share common facilities and
utilities like common room, library, computer room, dining halls,
grounds/parks.
6. Thermal Screening of all resident students shall
be ensured.
7. It is mandatory to maintain physical/social
distancing in dining halls, common rooms, playing areas, and it should be
ensured by the students at all times.
8. Meals shall be served in small batches to avoid
over-crowding. So students would visit the dining halls as per allotted time
slot only.
9. Wearing of face covers/masks and proper
sanitization of hands is strictly to be ensured by the resident students at all
times.
10. Resident students shall not be allowed weekly
outings.

No visitor will be allowed to visit the resident students, except in case of
medical emergency
