Hostel Admission Notice for UG 3rd and PG 3rd Semester
2021-22
As per the directions
of Director Higher Education, Chandigarh Administration vide Letter No.
DHE-UT-C2-12( ) 2021/2271, dated-04-08-2021, the college hostels will reopen
for students of 3rd Semester
of UG(BA/BSc/B.Com/BCA) and 3rd semester of PG(MA/Msc/M.Com) Courses
for regular teaching in offline mode in the first phase.
The students who have taken admission in 3rd
Semester UG and PG courses and have also applied for Hostel Accommodation are
required to deposit Hostel Fee online at the DHE Chandigarh website http://dhe.chd.gov.in/Version2/epayment/paynow.aspx
, by 25th August 2021 positively.

joining the hostel will be notified in due course of time:
The hostel accommodation
will be provisional subject to producing the below listed documents at the time
of joining the hostel, failing which hostel admission will be cancelled.

Proof of atleast one dose of COVID Vaccination administered minimum two
weeks ago.

Students should submit the Self
Declaration cum Consent Form
duly signed by the student and parents (performa available at http://gcg11.ac.in/downloads.aspx)
1.
Only those students (18+ Age) who have received atleast one dose of
COVID Vaccination, minimum two weeks ago shall be allowed to attend the
institution.
2. Symptomatic students
shall not be permitted to stay in the hostels under any circumstances. They
will be referred to the nearest COVID treatment facility for clinical
assessment and treatment. The parents/local guardian has to make alternate
arrangements for medical care of such students immediately.
3. There should be no
crowding in hostel areas where students live in close proximity and share
common facilities and utilities like common room, library, computer room,
dining halls, grounds/parks.
4. Thermal Screening of
all resident students shall be ensured.
5. It is mandatory to
maintain physical/social distancing in dining halls, common rooms, playing
areas, and it should be ensured by the students at all times.
6. Meals will be served
in small batches to avoid over-crowding. So students will visit the dining
halls as per allotted time slot only.
7. Wearing of face
covers/masks and proper sanitization of hands is strictly to be ensured by the
resident students at all times.
8.
Resident students will not be allowed weekly outings.
9.
No visitor will be allowed to visit the resident students, except in
case of medical emergency
10.
Students must carry their Fee Slip of 3rd Semester.
11.
Students to carry copy of the Self Declaration cum Consent Form at all
times and produce the same when asked for while in college campus.
12.
It is advised that students must carry their own water bottles,
sanitizers, soap strips, etc. to college.
13.
It is mandatory to observe
COVID appropriate behaviour norms in college campus/Hostel at all times.

Wearing masks properly at all times (covering nose and mouth completely).

Maintaining social distancing in the Hostels, classes, corridors,
grounds, library, labs, washrooms and elsewhere in the entire campus.
·
Washing of hands and practising Hygiene and sanitation.
14.
Spitting in the college premises is strictly prohibited and will be a
punishable offence.
15.
Littering in college premises is strictly prohibited. The students would
dispose-off facemasks/gloves in dustbins specifically provided for such items.
16.
The college reserves the right to disallow any student from attending
college/hostel in-case: -

She is found to be having some precondition (cold, cough and fever) or
·
She is found to be violating any SOPs/guidelines issued by MoE,
Chandigarh Administration and college authorities regarding COVID-19
Pandemic.
NOTE: Students should adhere
strictly to the SOPs/Guidelines issued by the GoI, Chandigarh Administration
and college authorities from time to time.
