The Commerce Department of Post Graduate Government College for Girls (PGGCG), Sector-11, Chandigarh, successfully hosted BIZFEST-2025 on March 29, 2025. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and an invocation to Goddess Saraswati, setting an auspicious tone for the day.
The festival featured a diverse range of inter-college competitions, including Business Idea Pitching, Just a Minute (JAM), Ad-Mad Show, Dance, and Poster-Making. Students from various colleges enthusiastically participated, showcasing their academic excellence, creativity, and innovative thinking.
The event was formally inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal, Principal of PGGCG-11, in the presence of Prof. Nisha Aggarwal, Vice-Principal, along with distinguished faculty members from different institutions.
Adding to the vibrancy of the occasion, the audience was captivated by musical performances, self-composed poetry recitals, and mesmerizing dance acts, creating an atmosphere of celebration and enthusiasm.
In her address, Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal encouraged students to adopt a holistic approach to education, emphasizing the importance of balancing academics and extracurricular activities.
