LECTURE ON MENTAL AND SOCIAL WELLNESS

The Department of Sociology, in collaboration with Nostalgia – the Alumni Association, organized an interactive session on “Reset & Rebuild: Breaking Unhealthy Patterns for Mental and Social Wellness.” Ms. Gargi Arora, Executive Director, Warm Shoulder Foundation, was the resource person.

The session sensitized students to mental and social well-being and encouraged them to recognize and overcome unhealthy habits, thought patterns and social influences. Emphasizing the interconnection between mental and social wellness, she highlighted the importance of healthy relationships, empathy, communication, self-acceptance and supportive social environments.

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal appreciated the initiative and the enthusiastic participation of the students.
