Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh, proudly announces the successful completion of a Five-Day Workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) held from March 17 to March 21, 2025. Sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology and Renewable Energy, Chandigarh Administration, the workshop brought together a diverse group of participants and experts to explore the latest advancements in AI technologies.
The primary objective of the workshop was to provide students with practical insights into AI concepts, algorithms, and tools, enhancing their technical competencies and career prospects. Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal, Principal, served as the Patron for the event, while the Post Graduate Department of Computer Applications organized the workshop. Dr. Meenu Verma, Head of the Department, was the Convener, and Lt. Harpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, was the Co-Convener.
The workshop featured comprehensive sessions on key AI topics, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Python, Pandas, Tensor Flow, and AI Ethics.
