PGGCG-11 organised the “Science Fest” to celebrate National Science Day

Jigyasa – The Science Society of PGGCG-11, Chandigarh, organised the ‘Science Fest’ on February 27, 2025, to celebrate National Science Day with the central theme Science & Innovation for a Developed India. The event aimed to ignite scientific curiosity, encourage innovation, and promote the exploration of indigenous technologies among students.

 

A variety of activities, including scientific model presentations, demonstrations, slide shows, a mathematics quiz, Best out of Waste, and speech competitions, engaged students from various colleges across Chandigarh. The fest provided a hands-on learning experience, enabling participants to transform theoretical scientific concepts into practical demonstrations.

 

Around 90 students actively participated in the event, which concluded with a valedictory session recognizing their enthusiasm, dedication, and innovative contributions. The chief guest, Principal (Prof.) Dr. Anita Kaushal, addressed the gathering, inspiring students to cultivate scientific inquisitiveness, pursue innovations, and explore promising career opportunities in science.
