Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh organized a multi-specialty health camp on 2 March 2026 to support the health of students and the community. The camp was arranged by the Community Hygiene & Public Health Society and the NSS Unit with the help of Shalby Hospital, Mohali.
Doctors from different fields provided free check-ups at the college. These included an orthopedician, ENT specialist, gynaecologist, and dietician. Basic health tests like blood pressure, weight, pulse rate, oxygen level, and bone density were also checked.
More than 250 students, teachers, and staff members took part in the camp and benefited from the services. The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal, appreciated the effort and advised everyone to take care of their health through regular check-ups. The programme reflected the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You,” and promoted the idea of helping others and caring for the community.
