Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global Apiary to impart skill training for entrepreneurship development for the session 2024-25 on 29th August, 2024. The event was organized by Department of Zoology. The owner of Global Apiary Mr. Madan Sharma delivered a lecture on honey bee rearing followed by a live demonstration and hands on training on honey bee rearing. Students enthusiastically participated in this training programme. Poster making competition was held and best entries were awarded. Students of B.Sc. – I staged a Nukkad Natak to spread awareness about the importance of honey bees and their declining population. Prof. (Dr) Anita Kaushal appreciated the students and motivated them to become entrepreneur for nation building. The Principal awarded participants with appreciation certificates.
