The Science Society of Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh organized a lecture by Prof K.K Bhasin Ex- Dean Sciences, Panjab University Chandigarh as a part of Celebration of “International Year of Periodic Table”(IYPT-2019) on 29-01-2020 under the aegis of Society For Promotion Of Science And Technology In India in Association with Alexander Von Humbo ltd foundation to mark the 150th Year of Periodic Table.
Prof. K.K Bhasin delivered a lecture on importance and significance of periodic Table and also enlightened the students about the interesting discovery and naming of new elements introduced in Periodic table.
Thereafter Prof. Alok Shrivastava, Department of Chemistry Panjab University also expressed his views on the history of Periodic Table.
