Traffic Awareness and Road Safety Society under the aegis of IQAC in collaboration with Department of Public Administration held Power Point Presentations and Quiz Competition on 15th February 2023 for its members on the theme “Sadak Suraksha Jeeva Raksha”.
The programme started with the address by the Programme coordinator Dr. Cheena Gambhir who welcomed the Principal Prof.( Dr.) Anita Kaushal, Dean Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma and Vice Principal Ms. Monica Vij. About 30 students from various streams participated in the competition and more than 200 students attended the function. The purpose was to sensitize and update awareness amongst the fellow students regarding the latest traffic rules, road signs, documentation and causes of fines and it also highlighted various traffic and road safety related issues. The Principal gave the prizes to winners of Quiz and Presentation participants and encouraged the students that they must follow traffic rules to save their precious life. The rules are made for their protection of life and while driving they must always keep their driving documents with them.
