Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI)

The Govt. of India under the Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI) resolution authorized Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) as ‘Designated Agency’ to receive written complaints from general public on any allegation of corruption and misuse of office by any employee of the Central Government or any other Corporation, Company, Society etc. owned or controlled by Central Government. Under the PIDPI resolution, the identity of the complainant is kept secret and complainant is protected from victimization for making such complaints.

PGGCG-11 awarded “BEST NSS UNIT IN UT OF CHANDIGARH”

Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh, has achieved outstanding recognition for its dedication to community service.

During a State Level Function in Chandigarh, Shri Dharam Pal IAS, Adviser to Administrator, honoured the college’s Principal, Prof. (Dr) Anita Kaushal, with the BEST NSS UNIT IN UT OF CHANDIGARH award in acknowledgment of the institution’s remarkable contributions to social service activities.

Furthermore, Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector 11 Chandigarh, continues to shine by clinching additional awards for their exceptional commitment to social service. Dr. Anoop Singh was bestowed with the State NSS Award for his role as the Best NSS Programme Officer, while Ms. Shamama Amir received the State NSS Award for Best NSS Unit.

Prof. (Dr)  Anita Kaushal, the college Principal, expressed her immense pride in the recognition of the institution’s unwavering dedication to community service and its pursuit of national objectives. She underscored the pivotal role played by the college’s eight NSS units in fostering the holistic development of students and emphasized the institution’s unwavering commitment to continuing its excellence-driven initiatives in this direction.

Parents Teacher Meet on 23rd September, 2023

A Parent-teacher meeting will be held on 23th September, 2023 (Saturday) from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. Parents/guardians can come and meet the teachers in their respective departments and interact about the attendance and performance of their wards.

• The students who are interested to take admission in B.Sc. 1 Courses (Non-Medical & Computer Science) in PGGCG-11, Chandigarh can fill the Google Forms through following links by 20th July, 2023 till 9 a.m. as few seats are lying vacant in the above two courses.

• Fresh applicants may also apply. But they must fill the application form on DHE portal http://dhe.chd.gov.in/Version2/Index.aspx before filling the Google form.

• The provisional merit list will be displayed on 20th July, 2023 by 12.00 p.m. on College Website https://gcg11.ac.in and the admission will commence thereafter through online mode.
